About Me
Hi, my name is Tessa I am a 28-year-old female, and I am from Newcastle-under-Lyme which is located in Staffordshire.I live here with my husband and two beautiful Cavachon’s Ronnie and Reggie. I have many hobbies from baking, making crafts and obviously doing my own nails but my favourite thing to do is to take my dogs on long walks around the beautiful local areas.
\For eight years I worked as a sponge decorator at Emma Bridgewater until I felt I was no longer happy and decided I needed a change. I have always enjoyed creating my own nails and dreamt about being able to work for myself someday but was always too scared to do this. After much consideration I decided that now was the time to make this big change and go self-employed.\
I took the two things I enjoyed doing and wanted and became a qualified nail technician in august 2023 where I received a level 3 diploma in nail technology.
My Studio
I have created a private home studio which offers a quiet, calm environment for you to enjoy your treatment in peace.
This is very much suited for the individual that may feel uncomfortable in a busy salon, I myself have ADHD and find the whole process of having to go into public places extremely difficult. This encouraged me to try and create an environment that may suit more people that not everyone can offer.
When booking your appointment, you can also request a quiet appointment to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.
My home is in a village on a private road making parking one less thing to have to worry about.

Gel Xtensions
Starting from £25.00
Xtensions is an alternative to acrylic. The already fully formed gel tips are adhered to the natural nail using gel to create an aesthetically pleasing and super long wearing set. of nails. A new set is to be applied at each treatment. Included in this is cuticle, nail prep and a standard gel colour.
Builder Gel
Included in this is cuticle, nail prep and a standard gel colour.

Included in this is cuticle, nail prep and a standard gel colour.

Add Length
This includes adding tips to create a small amount of length to the nail. builder gel is then applied after to give the nail strength.

Infills
Every 2-3 weeks a set will require an infill. this can only be done 4 times until a new set is needed. This is to check the condition of the nails.

Booking terms and conditions
By booking an appointment with me, you are thereby agreeing to the terms and conditions.
I also have the right to make adjustments to the terms and conditions, that have been stated, without warning.
Booking and booking confirmation:
You must make sure, before booking, to read the service description on the price list to ensure you are asking for the correct thing. If there is any confusion, please message me beforehand to make sure you are booking the correct service you are wanting to ensure there is no disappointment on the day as I will not be able to adjust your appointment.
Your enquiry about a booking will only be considered to be confirmed if I have responded to you with confirmation.
A reminder message will typically be sent or emailed 24hrs before your appointment, but this is not guaranteed, and it is your responsibility to remember your appointment and to be on time.
Prior to your appointment:
I do not remove other people’s work. If you attend your appointment with someone else’s work on your nails the appointment will not be able to go ahead. This includes normal nail polish. Please ensure that you attend with no product on your nails at all.
If you have booked a nail art package, please send me some photos of inspiration before your appointment.
Arrival for your appointment:
Due to my location, there is limited parking so you may not be able to park outside my house and you will need to take this into consideration to arrive for your appointment on time.
You must attend your appointment alone (unless this has been discussed beforehand). This also includes children. If you arrive with someone at your appointment, and this was not discussed beforehand, this will lead to your appointment being cancelled.
I do have two dogs that will be kept in a locked room that is adjoining the home studio so you may hear loud barking when you arrive. They are very friendly, but I just like to make people aware.
Cancellations, no-shows, and lateness:
I currently work on a strike system. If 3 strikes are received, you will not be able to book an appointment with me again.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please let me know asap. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24hrs this will lead to 1 strike. This will also be the case for no-shows.
Please make sure you attend your appointment on time. If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. If you are over 15 minutes late, I may have to decrease your appointment to a shorter treatment due to having less time available. If you are 30 minutes late your appointment will be cancelled, and you will receive a strike.
Payment:
I do have a card machine to take payments and also except bank transfer but if you want to pay in cash you must have the correct amount with you as I will not have change.
